We thank you for your enthusiastic participation 🤼, financial support 💸 and prayers👏 over the years as we have five hostels🏡 completed and now, the Kawant, GJ girls👧 hostel is in the works!

🏡 What is the ‘Roof for a Child’ campaign?
‘Roof for a Child’ campaign was started in 2015 to raise awareness & support for the education & lodging infrastructure of children from the very lowest strata of society. These hostels are built near good schools and provide an opportunity for children (first generation) to get good quality education and exposure to career opportunities.
These children live in the most rural parts of India, where education and awareness of its need are still dismally low.
Their parents are among the poorest in their villages, which forces the parents to send the children to work to augment the family income.
Their parents are from the lowest strata of society.
🚀 Our Track Record
due to our sacrificial commitment of our volunteers, over the past 10 years, we have completed 5 hostels, and 100% of revenue minus expenses is used for hostels construction. There is zero management overhead.
💰 How does this carnival raise funds for the ‘Roof for a Child’ campaign?
* Our volunteers cook food and snacks, which are sold to raise funds. Additionally there are live food stalls!!

* stalls for jewelry & clothes sourced directly from India.
* Games for kids, along with face painting and other fun events.

💲 How do I pay?
For security and cost savings, we have only enabled Cash on Delivery at our online store. On the day of the event, you can buy coupons and we accept credit cards, check and cash. Payments can be also made with the options displayed at http://www.roofforachild.org/donate
💸 I am unable to participate in the carnival. How do I support RFAC this year?
You can pay directly at the Donate link above securely using using our payment provider Aplos (credit cards - both one time and recurring) OR Zelle. You can mail us a check too, or just talk to an organizer for more details. All options provided at http://www.roofforachild.org/donate
💵 Can I make recurring donations?
Yes, our accounting system, Aplos at the donate link has an option for recurring payments too. Reach out to us, we will set it up for you.
🗞️ Do I get tax deductions on my purchases?
Yes, This campaign is run by Friends Social Transformation Network (FSTN), an approved 501(c)(3) organization. We will provide you a tax receipt for ‘in kind contributions’ for your purchases.
