We thank you so much for your steady support over the years that enabled us to complete 5 hostels!!  We look forward to having you and your family and friends for a day of yummy food, fun games, ethnic clothes and lovely company as we look to raise funds for our 6th hostel (details below ).

Our next project is to build 2 homes - boys and girls -adjacent to each other - in Kawant Gujarat, with a total budget estimated around Rs 3 crore rupees. Due to lack of capacity, only some of the children can be admitted. Once completed, the demand is for 300+ children from the very start! (Look forward to the post  with a more detailed write-up with the photos of the current home) 

Over the past years, we were able to complete 5 children's homes, all glory to God, and a testament to your dedication and support over the years!

How does the food and other sales work?

You buy the items online, and then arrive at the venue to pick up, ensuring that you have reserved your food, etc. You can also buy food items at the venue if it is still available. collect the payment via these options, and also for further delivery instructions.

What can I find at the Sales?

The sales consists of

  1. Yummy home-cooked food from various regions of India and baked treats & sweets 
  2. Fresh from the grill - dosas, omelettes, kabobs, burgers, hotdogs & much more!  

  3. Clothes, jewelry and other NEW carefully handpicked items provided by our supporters

  4. Services by experts of our community ( such as photoshoots, home exterior power washes, corporate mentoring sessions and more

How can I donate items for the sale?

How Can I bring my items to the carnival?

The Carnival will be held at Metuchen, NJ. More details will be provided soon.

How will the items be delivered to the buyers?

All food items purchased via online needs to be picked up on the day of the carnival. Other items - non-perishable - arrangements can be made on an individual basis.

 

About Roof for A Child (RFAC)

Roof for a Child' is a project to raise awareness and support for the education and lodging infrastructure of children from the very lowest strata of society.These homes are built near good government schools and provides an opportunity for children to get a good standard of education, and get exposure to career opportunities.
